As we come forward here now, we come into this vibration so that we might share with yourselves thoughts that concern the past…the ancient past. There must always be a purpose when seeking truth. Our purpose is to seek to shed light upon the darkness of the past…to seek to bring the memory of the past to light…to not only look forward as you live your daily lives, but to also look to the past…where the Ancestors have been…what the Ancestors have known…and how the Ancestors utilized their knowledge. In doing this, it will stir memories within one’s own self. You have the memories of all of the Ancestors. One has the memories of all humans who have lived upon the Earth. More interesting to yourselves, perhaps, is that you also have “future memories,” memories of what is to come. However, in order to have access to the knowledge of the past or to know of the future, your mind must not imprison itself with thinking only the way human beings think.
A human being’s mind works in terms of associations. By this we mean “associated thoughts.” In other words, when you have a thought -- maybe about the clothes you are wearing or a social engagement -- then that thought triggers, in your “memory bank,” thoughts that are associated with or connected with the first thought. So you think in “chains” of thought.
{Page puts in an example: …you think of a social engagement…you think of where it will be, and travel there in your mind…you think of someone who will also be a guest…this arouses feelings you have about that person…and perhaps those feelings are positive…[and this] leads you to think of another person or place or plan that also made you feel good…etc.}
One thought leads to the next thought, you see. And all the thoughts, if you trace them back, are associated with the next and the next. This is the normal human way of thinking as long as the person is sane and the individual who is serious in the pursuit of knowledge.
Society, which represents the “collective” consciousness of all human beings alive on the planet today, human society, sadly, has some negative views about the ancestral peoples. There are some people in society – the Asians and the Native American peoples – who do not think like Americans and Europeans. The majority of Americans and Europeans tend to take an attitude that the ancestors were little more than hairy beasts, carrying a large club in their hands, and were aggressive and barbaric in their nature. [When] the words primitive and ancient people are mentioned, then 9 out of 10 people will relate those terms to ignorance! Ignorant in what way? Ignorance of technological knowledge. Ignorance in terms of technological devices, including the various modes of transportation such as the airplane. Regardless of who they were and/or where and when they lived, they had no airplanes, you say. They [had] no technology; they had no skyscrapers or other modern amenities. You think that all they had was their culture, which was quite rich we might add, and their religion. If one makes a study of the Ancients worldwide, one will quickly discover that the culture and the religion were one and the same. There was little or no separation between the two.
