As we come forward into this vibration, I, Albion, so that we might share some thoughts that we consider to be of extreme importance. We hope that you will not only understand what we say intellectually, but that you will put our words into use in your daily lives. The reason we make such a point of this is to say that no matter what age or time one might be making reference to, when one is living through critical times, times when the energies are extremely intense, when planetary changes of all sorts are taking place, it is especially important to have a “tool” that can be used for protection for yourself, a tool that can help you understand better your own self and others somewhat better as well. We also consider it a tool of practical shamanism. We are speaking about the subject of thoughtforms.
First of all, so that we are all on the same page in terms of what is being discussed, we will define a thoughtform as being composed of the elemental essence of the mental world and the mental consciousness. It is animated by motivation, by thought, and by re-thinking the same thought time and time again. Now, we don’t mean to imply that to think a thought more than once does not create a thoughtform because it does. But a thoughtform that is truly powerful and that could be said to have a mind and a life of its own is one that is habitually reinforced by the same thought time and again. With this definition in mind, let us say that every human is “encased,” like a cocoon, in a shell of thought energy that holds in the essence of all the thoughts that a person has from the beginning to the end of a lifetime. The most prominent thoughts held within that cocoon are what we call thoughtforms. These are “living entities” that are nourished and reinforced with repetitious thoughts. Otherwise, we could say that the mind is just filled with thought fragments that have no meaning whatsoever that make no image or no practical sense, you see. A person, a place…all of these can be and are affected by thoughtforms, so we wish to go into some detail about how thoughtforms are created and how they affect you as an individual, how they affect others to which the thoughtforms are directed, and how they affect where you live. And, oftentimes, thoughtforms can also affect places that you go to frequently.

And, oftentimes, thoughtforms can also affect places that you go to frequently.
Thoughtforms can be born of fear, out of desire -- and desire, as we see it, is a powerful human emotion. What you desire will often overwhelm your common sense so that what you want will come first in terms of your priorities. Emotions of all kinds, but particularly desires, have a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual effect on you, on others and on places.
Let's think first about thoughtforms that are formed from fear(s). Parents often, out of no thought of malice or to harm a child, will instill a fear into that child. The fear itself may be quite logical in the sense that one should not approach a venomous serpent. This is a fear instilled, obviously, for the protection of the child. Nonetheless, it does imprint the thought – especially if it is reinforced time and time again throughout childhood – and the fear and the emotion connected to the fear becomes a thoughtform. It becomes a living entity, you see. As a rule, and we will use the serpent again as an example, one who has a fear of serpents doesn't sit around and focus on that fear. Rather, it takes a photograph of a serpent, or a film, or actually encountering a serpent to bring this fear to life again. In the course of a lifetime, this can and does happen many times but it takes a triggering for the thoughtform to be brought out of the recesses of the subconscious into the conscious mind. When it makes that journey from the subconscious, it is reinforced again when it gets to the conscious mind because it reminds you that you are afraid of a serpent.
Let's use another example of the same thing. Let's say that you, as a child, were taught that a particular religion you were initiated and/or baptized into is also orchestrated by parental guidance and concern. Thus, we could say that the intent for such exposure to a particular religion does make an imprint, just as surely as the fear of the serpent makes an imprint. In the case of religion, it leaves the world and becomes one’s code of honor and ethics and, of course, one’s system of belief. The motivation for this is very positive most of the time, although there are perhaps some exceptions. Parents and guardians are motivated out of love and concern, you see, for the soul of the child. Though we are relating these examples to children, we must say that this information applies to people of all ages. It is just particularly strong when it involves a young child.
As the imprint is made that going to church and adhering to a certain religious belief system and practice, then fulfilling these requirements by the child or person upon whom it is imprinted through rightful and harmless living, then the thoughtform is reinforced every time the person goes into a church or even sees a church in passing. Then the thoughtform is again reinforced every time.
If you imagine the cocoon that contains your thoughtforms, then you well imagine that the thoughts that compose that cocoon, including the fragments of thoughts we mentioned earlier, are countless because they are thoughts that occur over the course of a lifetime. In addition, although we do not choose to get into any detail about it at this time, there are also thoughtforms contained within the cocoon that were brought over from past lives. Sometimes those past life thoughtforms are positive and serve a positive, constructive purpose by reminding you, in a subtle way, that what is going on that you are responding to is not “new,” that it is familiar in some way. Perhaps the thoughtform had to do with a love experience, a spiritual experience, or something else very positive in a past life. At other times, however, if the thoughtform brought over from another life is a negative one, and then the negative qualities are also reinforced. Both of these examples must go into the category of karmic thoughtforms. Eventually, this kind of thoughtform will draw one into a situation, or into an environment, or into a relationship, a career, or something that will or can have the power to balance that thoughtform. For example, if one has taken a life in a past lifetime, then one may have the chance in this lifetime to save lives. Oftentimes, people who have killed in another life, and thus have karmic thoughtform energies to deal with, will go into a profession that will afford them the opportunity to save lives. This is done through being in the medical profession, being a counselor, a minister, or being of some type of service to the masses.
With these thoughts in mind, let us turn our attention to thoughtforms that are created by the habitual thinking you have done as an individual. Let us say that that thoughtform is negative and that it is directed deliberately and consciously to another person. You may say that you would never deliberately do such a thing, that you would never deliberately send a bad thought to another person. We say that when a positive or a negative thought is said or even thought about another person, that thought has that person’s name written on it, so to speak. The vibration of the person that the thought is about is “captured” in the essence of the thoughtform. Like attracts like, so the thoughtform, even if you do not consciously send it to that person, will seek out that person by their vibration -- and, thoughtforms never miss their mark. Needless to say, as a result, if a thoughtform is of a positive sort, then the person receiving it will feel a subtle sense of being supported, or a sense of pride. But if that thoughtform is negative, then the person will experience a negative “wave” of energy. There are several examples that we need to make about these things.
How many times in your life have you said, “I am so angry at him or her, I could kill that person!”? We chuckle about this because to say such a thing sounds so ridiculous, but we assure you it is not a laughing matter. You see, the thoughtform takes the action – which in this case is “kill” – and that becomes the power or the very essence of the power of that thoughtform. When it reaches the person, that person will respond in any number of ways, depending upon what the person’s emotional tendencies may be. One frequent response is a thought of hopelessness, that nothing is going their way, and that nothing is working out the way they hoped it would. Such thoughts can even make one think that life is just not worth living. Another person might go beyond that and that thoughtform, as it impacts their auric field, may indeed have the thought of suicide. And if the thoughtform is reinforced – by being sent to that person – time and time again, it can result in suicide or in other circumstances where death becomes the result. The person could, for example, set himself or herself up, unconsciously, for an accident that could take their life, or otherwise put them in harm’s way that could result in their death. You can be certain that under these sorts of conditions, which are far more common than you might think, then the generator of the thoughtform and the person who was the recipient of it create a karmic situation. The example we have given is one that is rather intense, so let's think about one that is perhaps not quite as obvious.
A person might say, “I don’t know what it is about Joe, but he seems very aloof, withdrawn, and even somewhat arrogant to me. Joe is not easy to get to know and I do not feel comfortable around him.” A thoughtform is created in your mind about the person being talked about, and it goes to that person. The person will be bombarded with a powerful mental energy that has the theme of arrogance, aloofness, withdrawal, and of difficult to get to know. Let us suppose that the person is a naturally shy and withdrawn individual. It does not require much thinking to realize that when such a thoughtform impacts this kind of person, their self-confidence will suffer even more so. How they view themselves can also suffer greatly. Such a thoughtform can drive the people further within themselves, makes it harder to get to know them, and makes them seem aloof or arrogant to those that do not know them, when this is not the case at all. It becomes the truth of the thoughtform creator, of the people the thoughtform creator has spoken this way to others about the person, and sometimes – more often than not – the thoughtform will inhibit a person from being social, from coming out of their shell and seeking friends and relationships, and from trying not to be afraid or intimated by other people. This sort of withdrawal can and does have some dire consequences, loneliness being the least of them.
Remember that everything we have said about negative thoughtforms is also true regarding positive ones. An example is that someone walks up to you and tells you that they think you would make an excellent public speaker, or writer, artist, or whatever. Perhaps you do not see yourself as a writer, artist, or public speaker, but the thought that has been passed to you gives you a vote of confidence, and could cause you to seriously think about what has been said. This does not happen all the time, but it does happen. Some will just laugh it off and never think about it again. But there are some who will think about it, and perhaps become quite serious in their thinking about it and ultimately pursue the development of a talent they had not realized, consciously, that they had. When such a development occurs, it usually benefits the person and others. So positive thoughtforms have positive effects, and negative ones have negative effects.
When a thoughtform reaches the mind of a person, the thoughtform never dies. It is reinforced every time one is in a situation whereas that thoughtform is reenacted. Think about this very carefully. One travels through life within their cocoon of thoughtforms. When you look out of that cocoon into the world, you will see things and events and others according to the how those thoughtforms taint your views. This is why that so many people simply do not see things the way they really are, but see them through the cocoon of their own thoughtforms. Only when one has learned through knowledge and the discipline that comes through the practice of mind control – which is controlling one’s aimless, compulsive, spontaneous thoughts – can one rid oneself and the blinders be removed and one sees things the way they really are. Would it not be interesting for you to think about the way you see the world? You might chalk it up simply to your opinions, your upbringing, what you know, what you believe, etc., but if the blinders were removed and you were not seeing things being conditioned by your thoughtforms, the world would be very different, yes? Life might be very different too.
How man times have you said to someone that when you first met someone "I did not like him or her," but the more you came to know the person, you changed your mind? You come to realize that you misjudged that person. This is an example of two things: first, of being willing to admit that you have misjudged a person or situation; and second, that you have had a glimpse of having those thoughtform blinders being removed so that you can see the person for who they really are and not as whom you thought they were. Do you know that you see some of the people in your life in a certain way because you “felt” them that way? No, you see people in the way you think they are, because you thought them to be that way, you created a thoughtform of them being the way you thought they were and, oftentimes, that person will respond to that thoughtform by behaving in sometimes the exact way you thought they would, at other times in similar ways. In this case, the person is acting out of character, so to speak, and realizes that they have said something or acted in some way that is contrary to who they are. When this happens, the actions and the words you display are not truly yours. They were a response to what someone thought they were.
Let's leave this and go to thoughtforms that are directed at one’s own self. These can be consciously directed and unconsciously directed, the latter most often being the case. That thoughtform is just as strong as any you may have about or for another person. You own response to that thoughtform will bring up a reaction within you when you are in a passive state of mind, such as when you are dreaming, daydreaming, or in some altered state of consciousness. It is so common that when you have thoughts of you being too tall or too short, too fat or too thin, then when you turn the thoughtform on yourself, then every time you look at yourself in a mirror that thoughtform is reinforced. Sooner or later, this will cause not only an emotional reaction, but it can also cause a physical “acting out” of the thoughtform.
Places are also affected by thoughtforms. We will use the place you live in as our example. Say you have lived in a certain place for a number of years. Then, all of the thoughts, feelings, and actions collect in that house. Together, these create a sort of astral “memory” of all the feelings, thoughts, and actions. Most of the time, these kinds of things that happen during the course of your daily life are insignificant and will exist only as thought fragments. But there will be others that are not insignificant. Maybe a crime happens in the home, or someone dies in the home, or maybe a child is actually born in the home, then the thoughtforms that result from these major actions remain attached to that place. Now you move out of that place. Someone else comes to lease or purchase that house. Immediately upon walking in the door that person will be exposed to the collective thoughtform of the house, comprised of all the events, all of the emotions, and all of the thoughts that have occurred in the house. Needless to say, if the negatives outweigh the positive, then the person looking at the house – although they may not know what they are responding to – will have a negative reaction to that place. They will not want to live in the house. Some people would be so repulsed by the thoughtform or energy of a place that they cannot get out of that place fast enough. The same is true in reverse, of course. If the thoughtform is positive and especially if it is in harmony with the person’s character and lifestyle that is looking at the house, then they will know immediately that this is the place for them.
The same is true with buildings of any kind. What is a building has once been a hospital, for example, and then is used to house another kind of business. The hospital thoughtform will affect that place. This will make for obstacles to be overcome, if it can be overcome, due to the thoughtform of that place. Would you want to live in what used to be a prison or jail? Whatever the case might be, the collective thoughtform of that building is as present as if all of the actions, emotions, and so forth were still going on.
When we think about places other than buildings. All over the South and the Northeastern U.S. there are markers and placards that designate places as the site of a battle, perhaps a Civil War battle. The activities of war that happened there remain there in the form of a “historical thoughtform.” In many such places, the battle will be reenacted on an annual basis. Everything will be set up just as it was when the battle happened, right down to the uniforms of the soldiers, the firing of the cannons and muskets, and people falling over as if they were dead! This reinforces the ugliness and pain of war. People died there. Lives were destroyed in these wars. So every place where a war event has taken place is imprinted with the thoughtform of that event, and thus keeps the event “alive,” so to speak. The battle at Bunker Hill, the massacre at Wounded Knee, the massacre of General Custer and his army, and so on it goes. These places have often been referred to as being “haunted,” so much so that there have been those who have sworn that they have seen the battle being fought, heard the noises, and experienced the pain of what took place there as if it were happening at that very moment. Ghosts or apparitions are often seen and felt at such places. But these are not usually ghosts at all. They are more often simply thoughtforms. When good things happen in a place, the same is true.
As we said earlier, thoughtforms do not miss their target. Lets suppose that a thoughtform is not about a particular person or group, but about the world, or the government, or whatever. Then, this is what we will call a non-personal, non-location, and detached thoughtform. It is just out there floating, so to speak, in the astral world. In fact, a large part of the Astral Plane is composed of thoughtforms of the lowest and highest types. Maybe you have said something like this out of frustration or disappointment: “I just don’t care what happens! I don’t care if the world comes to an end!” Those kinds of thoughts are “out there.” Wherever you are when such thoughts occur, then a person who comes around where you were, and they happen to be in the same or a similar state of mind as you were when you made that statement, then the thoughtform will have enough similarity to its own nature and the person it has encountered, and the person will be affected by that thoughtform. That person may have been feeling good and everything was fine until they encountered the energy of your thoughtform. Feelings of despair or frustration come over the person and they cannot understand why.
There are thoughtforms that have been reinforced down through time, and often they are thoughtforms that have been passed down from one generation to the next. These are ancient thoughtforms. The Apocalypse described in the Bible is a good example of this. Every person who has ever heard about this taps into the thoughtform that is the Apocalypse, and is tainted by the power of that thoughtform. That person is going to respond to it, usually, by seeing an image in his or her own mind as to what the Apocalypse is, what will happen, and so forth. As a result, they become sucked into a wedded to an ancient thoughtform and not even realize it. You can probably think of many more examples of this kind of thing.
Regardless of who, including your own self, that a thoughtform is directed to, or whether it is one created by the activities in your environment, they are two ways that they can be dispersed, meaning that the life can be taken out of it. If it were a positive thoughtform, one would not wish to do this. But if it is negative, you can take its life or power away. The first is to educate yourself thoroughly as to what thoughtforms are, how they are created, how they affect you, others, and places. When one has knowledge of this, you are far more likely to recognize when they are dealing with a thoughtform from when they are dealing with reality. Second, you can make it a sort of a mental exercise. Take the prophecy that has been made by so many people down through time of a Third World War happening. Whether the prophecy is accurate or not, the thoughtform has been created, and any time any person thinks of that war, or fears that war, or even hears of that war, the thoughtform is reinforced. So does it not make sense that a thoughtform can become independent of its creator and have a life of its own? Then the thoughtform of a Third World War, the Apocalypse, or a repeat of 9/11 can only be dispersed by persistent visualization and thoughts and feelings to the contrary, generated by you. The only time this process will not work is when the event prophesied is a karmic event, when it is something that the masses must experience.
When we come together again we will turn our attention to the subject of the angels and the work that they are doing today with humanity. We wish to tell you how you can be of service to the angels. God bless yourselves.
