As we come forward here now, I, Albion, come into this vibration in order that we might share some thoughts with yourselves that will focus on the mineral kingdom. Over the last two to three weeks, we have spoken about Masters and initiation. We remind you that an initiatory experience is one that results in a greater, perhaps deeper, sense of awareness of one’s self and one’s environment. It is an expansion of consciousness. However, when we say “expansion of consciousness,” we don’t mean so much to imply that one has more knowledge, but that one has a greater capacity for knowledge yet to be learned. When knowledge is something that is just a collection of facts and data, this rarely has any real purpose or usefulness in life, except that one can perhaps answer particular questions or be acquainted with the subject matter at hand. But simply collecting knowledge will not turn that knowledge into wisdom. Remember that wisdom is knowledge applied. As the human soul goes through periods of initiation, from the lowest into the highest, then the expansion of consciousness will allow one to see the greater whole of an event or a person rather than the pieces of something or someone. This is being able to understand, see and understand the entirety of something or someone, you see.
With these thoughts in mind, we wish to focus our thoughts on the mineral kingdom. One would not have thought about the concept that the mineral kingdom is a living kingdom. While we are certain that all of you in this room can and will accept this concept in that it is not new to yourselves. However, when it comes to the masses, they do not think of rocks, stones, sands of the shores, and pebbles being living beings. Thus, if it is not alive, it has no feeling. So, virtually, the masses as but an empty little piece of matter that has no inner “self” or inner working view a grain of sand. Nothing could be further from the truth. Let us think in terms of Masters for a moment. Again, we are talking about souls that have reached a level of no less than the 5th degree initiation, and who are prepared to go into the higher 6th and 7th degrees. But one would not think of a mountain, a stone, or a boulder as being capable of becoming a Master. But again we assure you that nothing could be further from the truth.
There are three important points that we want you to understand clearly about the mineral kingdom. First, this kingdom is not an individualized kingdom, meaning that each grain of sand has a piece – like a hologram – of the collective mineral consciousness. So, unlike humans, there is no individualization. In the animal and plant kingdoms there are genuses and species, but no such thing is true within the kingdom of minerals. So the bottom line is that minerals exist in a state of “group” or “collective” consciousness.
Second, if we were to put on x-ray glasses so that one could see into the inner core of a mountain, or a vein of silver or gold or raw ore, you would see that there are filaments composed of light that run like veins from atom to atom in the molecular structure of all minerals. We want you to think about this very carefully. Visualize it and see that these filaments connect the atoms to one another, and the connection point is in the nucleus of each atom. So the nuclei of all the atoms that make up the entire mineral kingdom is sort of like a nervous system in a human being. When we think of the word “nerve” we call to mind that the nervous system within the human body is a sort of “roadway” that carries information from one part of the body to the other, which is all controlled by the brain. This means that the mineral kingdom is like one human brain.
The third point about minerals is that this kingdom should not be thought about as a “lower” kingdom of life. The mineral kingdom is the body of the Earth. It is the rocky surface and the molten core. Lava that pours forth from the volcanoes is but liquid minerals or rock, you see. Imagine how many atoms might exist within a stone that you can hold in your hand. Then think about the number of atoms that might comprise an entire mountain such as Denali, Mt. Everest, or Mt. Shasta, and other such peaks the world over. The number of atoms in these is countless. And even if they were counted, the human mind could not comprehend the meaning of such numbers. So the actual number of atoms that exist within and make up the mineral kingdom is not of any real concern. What is of concern is that age has a great deal to do with the evolutionary process of the mineral kingdom as a whole. Even as we speak you are seated among the most ancient mountains in the world – the Grandmother and Grandfather Mountains. And so the atoms that comprise these old mountains are both older and therefore more experienced with being in the physical world, making them the most evolved when it comes to mountains throughout the world. Even as we speak, the volcano in Hawaii is very busy creating new land, a new island, a new beach, as the sea grinds the lava into pieces so small as a grain of sand. This is not evolved land; the sand particles are not evolved minerals. The sands are mere infants in comparison to other minerals that have been a part of the earth’s body for so very long.
When a mineral is part of the physical world. Let us give you an example. If you are talking and there is a stone somewhere in this room, that stone hears not your conversation. There is no telepathic reception of your thoughts, and the mineral does not receive thoughts from a plant or an animal. What the mineral does hear is the sounds in Nature, i.e. the sound of the wind, the sound of the rain as it beats down upon the body of a mountain or another stone, the sound of the Thunder Beings, and so forth. Minerals literally hear these sounds because they do, they respond to the sounds and elements of Nature. They respond to the wind and the water waves beating upon the shores of the beaches of the world.
You may think that this is all good, but in what language does Nature speak to the mineral kingdom? Let us think of it in this way: a mineral interprets the intensity of the wind by the sound the wind generates. It is therefore letting the minerals in that area where the wind is blowing (know) that they will be subject to erosion. The same is true with water. Wind and water bring the “message” of erosion to the minerals. Of course this is important for the longer minerals exist in the physical world, the more subject to erosion and the natural forces of Nature they become. How that particular mountain or shoreline or all minerals withstand the forces of erosion is to understand the language of Nature. We should say that the part of the mineral kingdom that is underground hears the language spoken by the movement of the lava and the movement of the fault lines. When a mineral is in its earliest stage of existence (we don’t want to speak of minerals living a “lifetime” for that would suggest that each is an individual and thus reincarnates), its method of evolvement is by and through the forces of Nature. They become stronger as time goes by. A mineral’s strength is not only physical, but is a strength that develops within the atoms of the molecular structure of a mineral. When and if one atom is affected, the entire mineral mass in the area is affected. Eventually, the entire mineral kingdom is thus subtly affected. The response that the minerals in a given area have to the forces of nature determines the form the minerals will have. As time goes on, the form will begin to show color. Think about the expression “veins of silver or copper.” This is color. Generally speaking, we could say that the mineral kingdom is of the drab colors. But turquoise, emeralds, rubies, and garnets are not drab. The more vivid the color, the more evolved are the atoms in the minerals that are of that color. Let us explain more simply.
Emeralds are green. Thus, if you were to dig some out of a deposit of raw emerald, you would see that some are barely green in color at all, then some grades of color that are clearer and sharper. Ultimately, a gleaming emerald will show forth, especially if that mineral has been tumbled and polished. Seeing the emerald’s color quality gives a clue as to the value of the mineral, and we do not mean financial value for this is a human’s determination of value. Nature displays the value of the mineral in the keenness of its color. In color psychology, green is associated with healing. And so we would say that emeralds and all green stones have the power of growth, fertility, abundance, expansion, prosperity, and healing. So, having an emerald in your possession and making friends with that stone will help to increase your prosperity, your sense of abundance and fertility, and will also – if it is a Master Emerald – a stone that has developed into a perfect, flawless mineral of its kind – have the ability, as known by the ancient Egyptians, to induce the gift of prophecy in a human being.
There are diamonds – let’s think about the so-called “precious gems” – you may think that all of these are Master Minerals. This would be true only if the mineral specimen is a flawless representative of the mineral kingdom. When we speak about flaws, we are saying that if you took a piece of coal about the size of your fist, and within that there is a perfect gem (diamond), then that perfect one is a Master Mineral. The flawless stone becomes the “blueprint” – the spiritual blueprint – that all minerals will follow to reach that state of evolution.
Humans can see, but minerals cannot see, at least not in the sense that humans do. The light filaments that form the “nerves” or nervous system of the mineral kingdom can see. What they see is the interconnectedness of all the atoms of that kingdom. So there is a unity that exists in minerals that the light filaments serve to hold that consciousness into a collective or group consciousness. Humans come along. They dig into and mine the minerals from the earth. They mine for profit and to make weapons, to build homes and other sorts of buildings. Wherever there is a quarry or a mine where minerals are being extracted in large amounts, for whatever purposes, the evolutionary process of the kind of mineral being taken is interrupted. Imagine that this network of nerves exist that connects all the nuclei of all the atoms that make up the mineral kingdom, which in turn makes for a collective consciousness.
Now direct your thoughts for a moment to a place in the state of Arizona that is a beautiful mesa known as Black Mesa. When standing upon its summit one can see hundreds of miles across the desert. Black Mesa is a sacred mountain to the Hopi and the Navajo. When this mountain is mined for its plutonium, which is in turn used for making weapons of destruction, then a call rings out – a shockwave – goes through the entire mineral kingdom all over the earth. If this happens enough to interrupt the evolutionary process of the mineral kingdom – and it has - it means no tectonic activity that has a sense of purpose takes place, no mountains are built, and there is only destruction or tearing down of the very fabric of the mineral kingdom of life. Therefore, with this kingdom’s evolution is interfered with, it eventually results in the members of this kingdom in a given area to be saturated with the consciousness of illness and destruction. This consciousness can spread throughout the entire mineral kingdom in time.
Minerals are very susceptible to being caressed by the root of a tree or shrub. They are very receptive to interacting with animals, particularly those that live in caves, for caves are made of minerals, of course. In this way minerals have a fundamental sense of being related to the animal kingdom. This is the same as that which a human knows as a sense of feeling. If you hold a stone in your hand, the stone knows when it is being held gently or roughly. This is a feeling or emotional way minerals respond. In the natural course of evolution, when the wind, rains, earthquakes, storms, and all natural events occur, minerals knows the difference between such an event and that which is unnatural such as strip mining and other destructive acts.
Picture the earth in your mind for a moment. Lets say that the minerals that make up a sacred mountain – Mt. Sinai, Mt. Shasta, the San Francisco peaks, and others all over the world – are “sacred” because of a human event or events that have taken place there. So humans have designated that mountain or place as sacred. However, the mountain is not responsive to such labels. It is very hard to explain the sort of consciousness the minerals possess, but we hope you will study what we have said. When we come together again, we will discuss the consciousness of the plant kingdom and the Master Plants. This is the first kingdom within which there is individualization.
Before we end our discussion, (a mineral that) has evolved – which means that it has been left alone by humans, has not been mined, dynamited, or otherwise disrupted or disturbed unnecessarily by an unnatural force – then the atoms that make up those minerals become Masters. In this sense they are ready to become conscious in a different manner by evolving into the next kingdom of life. So be it.
